Once-in-a-lifetime moment for Lioncroft CEO and Chairman

In July 2025, Lioncroft Wholesale CEO Dr Jason Wouhra OBE, in his role as Chancellor of Aston University, had the once-in-a-lifetime privilege of conferring an MBA qualification upon his father, Jasbir Wouhra.

His father, who is also Lioncroft Chairman, had embarked on an MBA course following a very successful career as co-founder and managing director of East End Foods Plc.

“My father has always instilled in me the importance of education and hard work, and his journey here at Aston University has been one of dedication and perseverance,” said Jason, as he presented the award.

“I believe this is the first time in history a son, as university chancellor, will bestow a degree upon his father,” he continued to rapturous applause from the 2025 Aston University graduates at the University’s summer graduation ceremony.
